Recreation and culture take the forms of an Ice Arena, a Fitness Centre, Park and Camprgrounds, organized exercise groups, Music Teachers, a Museum, Heritage Sites of the province/village and many organizations.
The Dysart and District Recreation Board is the umbrella organization for many of the clubs in the village. The board coordinates an annual family day, distributes provincial grants and assists in the operation of some of the facilities and programs offered from the provincial level.

Summer time gives anyone interested the opportunity to be part of the local softball ”Bar Team”. They are part of a league that has fun with this sport.
The Village of Dysart is proud of its Artificial Ice Skating Rink Facility. The rink features ample seating for even the largest crowds. The rink floor is concrete and is fully functional for summertime functions. The rink lobby provides the maximum in comfort and view of the ice surface.
